Project #3:Balance and Contrast

Project #3:Balance and Contrast

Kaleidoscope
I took this photo with the bright colors in mind, and when editing intensified the reds, and the pinks. This gives a vibrant feeling.
Kaleidoscope
This is a photo of a lamp that caught my eye in a furniture store in downtown Portland. Through cropping and rotation and flipping of the image I created a kaleidoscope. This kaleidoscope has a warm glow.

Kaleidoscope
While walking through downtown Portland and looking through stores, I casually took a photo of these sheets due to there color contrast. However, when put together in a kaleidoscope format it creates a suit and tie looking photo.

Strong Contrast in Value
While driving out of my garage notice How the raindrops on the on the roof had formed in large drops of water. They had a strong dark around them, which caught my eye. This photo shows Contrast between the dark and light values.

Symmetrical/ Radial Balance
This photo was taken while taken while on a mid-night walk. It Caught my eye because of it symmetrical balance, however looking at it now it has a almost radial balance with the trees branches. It has  a spooky feeling to it.

 Experimenting with Low Shutter Speed.
This a photo i took while experimenting with low shutter speed.

Diptych/ Color Contrast
While on a walk through the industrial area, I notice a particular wall that really stood out to me. It had a single blue door and bright orange and red ivy above it. This photo shows color contrast with the orange ivy and blue door.

Diptych
Over thanksgiving weekend I took this photo while on a hike. This is two separate photos of the sandy river that were taken a different times in the day. When put together they create a diptych that resemble one image.

Triptych
This photo was taken in the industrial area in portland, and shows the rustic side to Portland. I also used a slow shutter speed to capture the flags motion blur.

Triptych
This photo was taken in the pearl while on a mid-night walk. The first photo shows depth of field with the fountain and the extended background.
Triptych
This photo was taken In Powell's book store in downtown Portland. This triptych is of three separate photos taken throughout the store. I love this photo because of the variety.
